Setting up AesirX Analytics for Joomla Plugin

Prerequisites:

1.  Set up and install docker at your local.
2.  Install MongoDB

Step-by-step instructions:

1.  Git clone https://github.com/aesirxio/analytics-1stparty.
2.  Cd analytics-1stparty.
3.  cp aesirx-1stparty.env.dist  aesirx-1stparty.env.
4.  Run docker compose up -d.
5.  Run docker ps to view the port. Now, your domain should be http://localhost:32770.

How to Install the Joomla Analytics Plugin

Prerequisites:

1.  Aesirx-analytics has been set up using docker.
2. Download and install Joomla 4.2.9.

Step-by-step instructions:

1.  Download the Joomla plugin package https://github.com/aesirxio/joomla-analytics-plugin/releases/tag/1.0.0.
2. Log in to the Joomla admin site.

3. At the Home Dashboard menu, select System -> Install -> Extension.

4.  A new page enables users to upload the plugin. Upload the plugin downloaded.

5. Go back to the Home Dashboard page, select “Plugins”

6. Search for the name of the plugin ”AesirX Analytics”.  Then, double click on the title.

7. At the Analytics Platform URL, fill in URL aesirx-analytics and “Save”. Recall to enable the status.

You have now finished setting up your Analytics plugin for Joomla4.
